Question:
This looks like the large spring under the cap. What would be the indication that this spring is not working correctly? The internal springs of the pump are smaller in diameter and have many more coils compared to the picture above. My pump is quite a few years old and needs a prime if not in use for a while. The internals are functioning correctly based on what I saw when it was dismantled. Any thoughts?
